Lexi Crouch is a student Nutritionist who has already started making waves in the industry. Lexi uses her own experience of overcoming an eating disorder to teach and inspire others who want to do the same. Giving talks locally and nationally, regularly featuring in the media and being an ambassador for The Butterfly Foundation, Lexi has set the foundation for an incredible career before even graduating from uni.

In this episode, Lexi shares:

  • The way her personal health journey led her down the path of natural health.

  • How she overcame her eating disorder and now teaches others to do the same.

  • Her time studying at endeavour, including what it was like having a baby while studying and the flexibility this allowed.

  • Growing a community of supportive practitioners while studying and why this is so important, not just for your time at uni but also once you’ve graduated.

  • Her plans for after she finishes her clinical placement.

  • How she uses public speaking to inspire and educate others.

  • Past experiences with media appearances.

  • How she became the ambassador for the Butterfly Foundation.

  • The way social media has been instrumental in her career growth and opportunities.

  • The importance of being real, authentic and vulnerable.

  • Why you need to be consistent in what you do to grow your career.

  • Trusting that when you put yourself out there the opportunities will come.

  • How everyone has a story and why it’s important to use this.

  • Why you should ‘just show up’ no matter how scared you are to begin with.

  • The importance of practice and not waiting until you’re ready because you’ll never feel like you are.

  • Why you’ll never regret facing your fears.

  • How being passionate is the key to success.

  • And so much more!

I absolutely loved having this conversation with Lexi. She is such a ray of sunshine and pleasure to listen to and learn from. Hearing her story and how she has used this to build a career is truely inspiring for us all.
